AN-140 AIRCRAFT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Hydraulic system is designed to supply the hydraulic lines of systems of LG (landing gear) retraction - extension braking of LG wheels, taxiing device, extension and retraction of flaps and lifting of entrance door-ladder. ydraulic system consists of two systems No. 1 and No. 2. Rated pressure in systems - 150 kgf/cm2. Operating fluid - AMG10 St. Std GOST 6794-75. Total volume of fluid in hydraulic systems - 25 lit. The electrically-driven pump station NS-140 with DS engine motor serves as a source of pressure in every hydraulic system.There is an autonomous hydraulic accumulator, being a pressure source for parking of LG wheels, as well as auxiliary source of supply for main system of braking in hydraulic station No. 1 (HS No. 1). |
The pump station in HS 1 is supplied by main system of power supply and pump station in HS 2 - from emergency one. The pump stations are controlled by hand or automatically. The pump station in HS 1 switch on automatically at setting the switch of pump station to position AT before taxiing-out for take-off and operated up to the completion of nose LG retraction. At approach to landing the pump station in HS 1 switch on at extension of landing gear and operates up to setting the switch of the pump station to position OFF after taxiing in for parking.

The pump station in HS2 switch on automatically only at operation of:
| - retraction-extension of main landing; |
- extension-deployment of flaps. |
