Except Iran-140 A/C, only one of the Iranian Air Bus A/C is equipped with this system. Therefore, Iran-140 A/C is on the top among Iranian passenger A/C having jet enging.

The FADEC includes two types of hardware:

The First type is traditional and Hydro-mechanic (HP 2000) and the second type is electronic and autonomous
(RED 2000). The latter automatically gives necessary instruction to fuel metering value.
The software available in RED 2000 is able to record all flight data pieces related to engine and at the end of each flight, can extract data through PE140 software and lap top computer and analyze the flight data. Moreover, the fatal data can be presented on LCD and can be exchanged between pilot and capilot.
