CLASSIFICATION OF THE AIRCRAFT
Aircraft corresponds to the requirements
of the certificate basis (SV-140) of aircraft, developed on the basis
of:
| -
active norms of airworthiness of transport category aircraft, part
2 of Aviation Regulations (AR-25); |
-
requirements to the noise level on the terrain in accordance with
Chapter 3, Appendix 16 of ICAO (Chicago, 1994), volume 1 “Aircraft
noise”, third edition 1993 and requirements of Part 36 of Aviation
Rules (AR-36). |
These
standards are identical, as for as their structure and requirements are
concerned, to requirements and standards FAR-25 and JAR-25, which will
allow to sell An-140 aircraft into the countries, where they acknowledge
FAR-25 and JAR-25 standards.
An-140
aircraft will have the following certificates:

type certificate of An-140 aircraft, issued by Aviation Register of
Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) of CIS countries; |

type certificate for noise level on the terrain and correspondence
to chapter 3 of international standards, Appendix 16 to ICAO (volume
1, second edition, 1988), issued by Interstate Aviation Register of
Interstate Aviation Committee; |
| -
type certificate of engine TV3-117VMA-SBM1 (AI-30-1), issued by Aviation
Register (IAC); |
-
airworthiness certificate for completing items correspondence to “Specifications”,
issued by Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee for items,
manufactured in CIS country. |
VERSIONS
OF DEVELOPMENTS
The further development of aircraft, based
on aircraft structure, will be performed due to modifications of fuselage,
integration of equipment and power plant.
Aircraft structure provides the following
versions:
| - cargo aircraft to transport
cargoes on pallets and in containers; |
-patrol aircraft for protection
of economical zone, fish finding, monitoring of navigation, aerial
photography, ecological monitoring; |
| - high comfortable administrative
aircraft; |
- military-transport aircraft
for carrying cargoes and materiel, paradropping; |
| - passenger airliner with 68
seats; |
- special patrol aircraft. |
